Since founding QFS Inc., Bob Bernikow has advised large and small vendors of financial information services on the product and marketing strategies necessary for success in this highly competitive marketplace. 

He has also advised a number of institutions on emerging technologies, and their relevance for supporting the information needs of professionals. He has identified critical applications, and evaluated competing solutions.

He has been involved with a number of major buyside institutions in the purchase of analytical tools and data services. For example, he assisted Paribas Asset Management in the selection of analytical tools to support the investment research effort. This effort covered domestic and international data sources. Other buyside clients include The Guardian, Treynor-Arbit, Century Capital, MPT Associates, Weiss, Peck & Greer and Townlee Capital. 

On the sellside, he has consulted for Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs, Shearson, Salomon Brothers, CitiBank, Paribas Investment Banking. Most recently, he has assisted a major Investment Bank in an evaluation of industry wide technology levels for Institutional Sales and Trading.

 

He is a recognized expert in the field of Electronic Research Distribution and has assisted a number of firms in planning their strategies in this area.
